If you really thought about it, the fact that this employer puts a higher value on your personal life than your work life might mean they don't want you around. But you're too busy signing up for the company subsidized fantasy space camp to worry about such things. Management here shares information with staff about everything that's going on within the company. They either really trust everyone or there's nothing worth stealing. If this company didn't believe that you could figure out the best way to do your job they wouldn't have hired you.
